Upcycling

Do you have some gold jewellery in a drawer being unused? I would love to help you to use it to create something new to wear and enjoy. I love the challenge of using a customer’s gold and stones to design and create a new piece of jewellery. These really are some of my favourite pieces to work on.

Generally, the simpler the piece the more cost effective it is for you. That’s why simple gold bands or plain solid bangles are such a popular use of customers gold. It’s also a lovely way to use sentimental gold to create a piece to remember a loved one. Even just a gram of gold can be used as an accent in a silver piece.

Commissions

Do you have an idea for a particular piece of jewellery that you cannot find anywhere?

It could be an unusual engagement ring or a piece to mark a life milestone. In the past I have made a brooch to celebrate the achievement of completing a marathon, a bracelet to mark a career highlight, even a ring designed to extend and protect a damaged fingertip. Each commission is as unique as the client. I work very closely with each client to be clear on what we are aiming for before designing and pricing each job. Once this is agreed upon a deposit of 50% is needed to go ahead.
